MMSG Plant Sciences Workshop 2008 — Oxford
The workshop was held at the University of Oxford on Friday 23rd May 2008.
Plant scientists from the university will each gave a brief presentation on a piece of current research where mathematical modelling might help to overcome a problem, test a hypothesis or provide additional insight. The aim of the workshop is to encourage new collaborations between researchers, leading to joint research or jointly supervised MSc or DPhil students, or PDRA projects, and in the long term, to increased understanding of processes in plant sciences.
The workshop was organised by Gail Preston (Plant Sciences) and Chris Breward (OCIAM), will took place in Room L2 in the Mathematical Institute's main St Giles' building.
